Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference
A six-member IHSAA-sanctioned Conference located within Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, and Rush Counties. The conference was formed when the football playing schools of the East Central Conference (except for Morton Memorial) joined with three schools from the Southeastern Indiana Conference. The conference recently grew to its largest membership number, as Connersville and Rushville joined in 2013.
This conference should not be confused with the Eastern Indiana Conference, a small-school conference in Northeast Indiana that existed from 1953 to 1975.
